My client, a North Shore Direct Marketing firm in the Health and Beauty Industry, is currently seeking a very experienced candidate in the field of online sales of business to consumer channels and products. The successful candidate will work closely with the direct marketing department and will head up the web department to optimize online marketing strategies as they relate to different brands. This includes but not limited to the use of email campaigns, online advertising and media purchases, search engine marketing, traffic analysis, pay per clicks, pay per performance strategies, banners, ecommerce site design, web performance and functionality and all related content. You possess a great knowledge of web marketing strategies and you are current with new strategies and technologies available to maximize return on investment.
Primary Responsibilities Are:
* Analyzing customer data base using crystal reports
* Make new revenue recommendations for online
* Monitor every online marketing campaign to identify ways to optimize ROI
* Stay up to date with new technologies and vendors
* Identify potential vendors and negotiate deals to maximize traffic potential
* Identify new sources of traffic
* Analyze traffic and conversions versus cost of acquisition and per order
* Market research on current market conditions and competitor movement
* Constantly seeking new and innovative strategies to increase conversion and sales
* Coordinate with other team members to ensure maximum use of resources and productivity
* Limited administration of the web department
* Linking strategy with external sites
* Plan and execute affiliate programs
* Planning and implement new ecommerce sites utilizing the web development team
* Staying up to date with new ecommerce applications
* Reviewing and making recommendation with use of new applications such as CRM or other that will contribute to better back end conversion and sales
* Preparing business plans and able to execute and meet deadlines
* Utilizing best practice and new online methods to increase traffic, conversions and sales
Education, Work Experience & Required Skills:
* Minimum 3 years experience in Online Marketing Management of business to consumer channels and products with exposure to most common used strategies such as PPC, PPP, online media buy, e-mail newsletters, reports, conversions and so forth
* Exposure to offline direct marketing channels such as direct mail, print advertising and DRTV an asset.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and act on them appropriately
* A university degree in business or marketing (MBA is an asset)
* The ability to manage, coach and develop direct reports using crystal reports
* Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), selling and negotiation skills
* Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
* Professional presence and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
* Be able to lead a team in a participative spirit if required
* Unquestioned personal and professional integrity
* Confident, results-oriented, and able to make decisions
