Sports Advertising Copywriter
We are a Vancouver-based media company seeking a Sports Advertising Copywriter to produce a variety of online and offline material.
Description
- Generating advertising copy and sports-related stories as assigned, with a focus on immediacy
- Proofreading, editing, and writing a variety of advertising material
- Working with production, marketing, and development teams to develop compelling and timely content from concept to creation
- Assisting other departments as required
Requirements
- Advertising copywriting experience (agency and direct mail experience a plus)
- An avid interest and outstanding knowledge in sports and gaming
- Excellent English skills with related education/experience
- The ability to produce articles quickly and efficiently, with limited direction
- A high level of attention to detail with the ability to learn new skills quickly
- Experience writing with a focus on search engine optimization (SEO) is an asset
