H Street Media, responsible for marketing one of the world’s leading sports entertainment providers, is looking for a Senior SEO & Web Analytics Specialist.

We’re at a very exciting phase of our business and we’re thrilled to bring someone new on-board to share and contribute to our success. Working with the Internet Marketing team, you’ll help craft and execute online marketing initiatives for our new client in the sports gaming industry.

We are looking for a bright, DETAIL-ORIENTED person with a minimum 4 years internet marketing / SEO / PPC / Analytics experience. Programming and web design knowledge is a plus but not a requirement. You should have knowledge about how the various internet search engines function, pay-per-click (PPC) accounts, web analytics programs, and internet marketing business ROI, email marketing, affiliate marketing

The position requires excellent communication skills, ability to discuss business objectives and define reports and provide recommendations.

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for a creative, analytical, technically savvy individual who wants to be a part of a growing online business.

This position will be based in downtown Vancouver, BC.

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Test and analyze keywords, title and description copy
* Research and evaluate competitors paid search marketing efforts and identify new search opportunities.
* Find solutions to increase free traffic to the site through optimization of site pages
* Advanced link building development
* Ongoing SEO research and development
* Implement on-page & off-page optimization techniques
* Monitor and report on activities completed each day/week.
* Creation/modification of content for each page.
* Attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and organizational development.
* Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
* Attain an in depth knowledge of sports scheduling and search terminologies which will maximize return on investment and drive mass traffic
* Ensure testing and performance reports are completed in thorough and complete manner
* Define strategic plans which will ensure maximal return including podcasting, new search techniques and new search niches
* Properly plan and present programs in structured format on a regular basis to the Director of Internet Marketing
* Ensure strategic plans fit into the business metrics as assigned by the Director of Internet marketing
* Spearhead from strategy to execution niche campaigns whose primary focus is customer acquisition through search, viral and buzz marketing
* Assist Search Engine Marketing department in tracking ROI of online marketing campaigns
* Define and report on A / B testing
* Develop business trend, website performance and conversion reports
* Consult regarding integration of multiple reporting systems into a single report output format
* Assist in defining the format of affiliate performance reports
* Make actionable recommendations from analytics reports
* Work to define the business intelligence team goals and structure

Qualifications:
* 4+ years of online marketing experience
* Experience with Omniture SiteCatalyst or Google Analytics
* Proven experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* HTML and JavaScript knowledge required
* Strong understanding of the Internet Business and E-Commerce
* Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively; excellent planning and organizational skills
* Excellent collaborative skills
* Team player

Additional Skills that would be a plus:
* Database, programming experience
* Experience with Google AdWords, Microsoft AdCenter and Yahoo Sponsored Search. (PPC)
* Experience in data mining
* Working knowledge of best practices in eCommerce, website usability, and site architecture
