Position Title: Internet Marketing Manager
Reports to: VP, Technology

Once visitors discover the place that suits them best, they can link through to the property and reserve their accommodations directly.

The role:
We are searching for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial individual to lead our marketing and communications team for our online presence. In this position, you will lead and develop all brand building strategies that drive enrollments and increase utilization of our new service. Applying your strong communication, creative and analytical skills, you will have the opportunity to help build the world’s premier, online, travel website. Eventually you will be leading 2 content writers/developers and bringing these people on to join your team.

Responsibilities:
* Developing marketing and communication plans, designing multi-channel campaigns, and establishing budgets;
* Developing high-impact advertising, promotions, contests, events, viral/email campaigns, etc.;
* Planning and coordinating marketing campaigns developed in conjunction with our joint venture partners;
* Working closely with external agencies, high profile partners and media outlets to develop opportunities for promoting the brand and service;
* Keeping the consumer web site and mobile service refreshed by generating new ideas for content and features;
* Writing high-impact copy for the web site, advertising, media announcements, white papers, presentations and other documents;

Ensuring that all marketing and communications content meets established standards;
* Working with product development staff and engineering resources on new product concepts and features to drive profitable growth;
* Tracking marketing program analytics and reporting them to all stakeholders along with recommendations for improving enrollments, utilization and service experience; and
* Maintaining surveillance on the competitive environment and providing market analysis and tactical recommendations.

Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in an online, relatively new internet-based business. This candidate will have had experience in various aspects of an online operation and proven progression of responsibilities to a senior leadership or management position.
* 2-3+ years consumer marketing experience in the travel, Internet or hospitality services space;
* Experience developing and managing multi-channel advertising campaigns involving Internet, print media, television and direct mail;
* Proven experience in a web content management role for a high-profile site. Experience marketing through social networking sites, mobile services or other emerging channels an asset;
* Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Extensive experience crafting high-impact promotional material, web content, news releases, and other materials;
* A passion for data mining. Strong analytical skills and the ability to organize large quantities of data in order to develop consumer marketing strategies that will generate increased enrollment and revenue;
* Proven project management skills with ability to execute multiple projects on time and on budget;
* Natural leader able to develop strong interpersonal relationships with cross functional teams. You employ great interpersonal skills to work with partners and colleagues, and exude a high energy attitude;
* You take ownership, and execute projects and tasks with timeliness and the highest level of quality, placing internal and external partner satisfaction at the pinnacle of importance. A passionate desire to play a key role in shaping the growth and vision of Kiwi Collection;
* Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills required; and
* University degree in communications, journalism or related area. MBA is a plus
