Our client is an online marketing consulting firm working primarily with clients in the online poker segment. The company is an integral part of one of the most successful organizations in the Internet lead generation industry. They operate in multiple geographical locations across the globe including New York, Stockholm, Tallinn, and Florida. Founded in early 2006 with already 39 employees in its downtown Vancouver office the company is expecting that number to continue to grow rapidly during 2008.

Senior Project Manager Role:
You will act as the Senior Project Manager for one of the largest clients the organization provides a wide variety of services for including marketing (SEO, in-house affiliate program, PPC, etc), website and software development, as well as customer support.

The Senior Project Manager’s role is to lead these processes and ultimately to maximize the clients profit.

The Senior Project Manager will have 10 direct reports (along with shared in-house resource for design, conversion, copywriting etc):
* 1 Online Marketing Specialist
* 1 Email Marketing Specialist
* 1 SEO Specialist
* 2 Affiliate Managers
* 1 Software Developer
* 2 Web Developers
* 2 Customer support representatives

The Senior Project Manager will report directly to the General Manager of DOM.

Required Tasks:
* Maximize profit for client (profit and loss responsibility)
* Full staff responsibility - including:
o Hiring/firing
o Conducting performance reviews
o Setting salaries/bonuses
o Approving vacations
* Work with online marketing team to develop road maps and set priorities for website traffic volume and quality
* Work with web analytics team to develop road maps and set priorities for increasing website conversions
* Work with Account Managers to maximize value per lead
* Improve design and functionality of software applications - potentially bring in consultant
* Recommend and implement process improvements to ensure efficient operations

Professional Requirements:
* Minimum two of two years working as Senior Project Manager
* Minimum two years of online marketing experience
* Minimum two years of profit and loss responsibility
* Experience from working in or managing software development projects
* General understanding of what goes into operating a website such as web analytics, online marketing, content management, copywriting, development, visual design and QA

Formal Requirements:
* University Degree
* Fluent in English
