Job Description:
The Community Manager manages, facilitates and develops our online community which is built around our online session gaming sites. You will drive initiatives that engage the members of our family-friendly online community and influence site and game development based on community feedback. You will ensure that our online communities are inviting while also encouraging active discussion. Critical skills include the ability to engage members to promote a positive environment and settle disputes professionally and respectfully. You will work with the development team to bridge game/site development and the community.

Candidate Requirements:
3-5 years managing an online community
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience as a forum moderator
Passion for video games
Experience with viral marketing and SEO.
Currently located in Vancouver and legally permitted to work in Canada.
Candidate Profile
Self-starter
Diplomatic, professional and friendly demeanour
Ability to create policies and rules for a family-friendly online community
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience creating content and topics for forums, sites, blogs and podcasts.
Strong understanding of and passion for online social networking and sharing technologies
Excellent problem solving skills
Experience with entertainment or video game sites is a plus.
