Search Marketing Coordinator

Location: Vancouver, BC

Layer 7 Technologies is seeking an organized, creative person to oversee the day-to-day management of the company’s SEO and SEM/PPC campaigns. Layer 7 products are highly technical so this position requires someone who is a quick-study, able to identify the correct keywords and write ad copy relevant to the target audience. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day management of Layer 7 SEM/PPC campaigns
* Research, develop and maintain ad groups, keywords and text ads
* Manage SEO/SEM campaigns on Google, Bing and Yahoo
* Report on campaign analytics
* Optimization of Layer 7 websites
* Other duties as required

Requirements:
* Post-Secondary degree/dipolma in Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Strong familiarity with search marketing and search engine optimization best practices and techniques
* Strong familiarity with SEO/SEM tools
* Understanding of Google, Bing and Yahoo to achieve best SEO/SEM results on all three
* Proficient copy writing skills
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice to Have:
* Some familiarity with online marketing/advertising industry
* Familiarity with Social Media
* Experience managing and/or assisting with online marketing initiatives
