Our client an online marketer for various international gaming websites is actively seeking an experienced level headed and dynamic SEO Specialist to join their organization. They have offices is several cities around the world and pride themselves on their fun and friendly diverse culture and high staff retention. This opening is in their downtown Vancouver offices.

We are looking for a world-class SEO Specialist to be responsible for the company’s overall SEO strategy and operations. You will be part of an international team of SEO experts working on dozens of .com and international websites in multiple verticals. Your initial focus will be on the .com and international versions of an online poker guide. Because of the focus on international websites, experience from working on successful international SEO campaigns is a must. Another requirement for success in this role is the ability to manage daily communications with stakeholders, including IT, editors, web designers, and senior management.

Main Tasks
- Execute SEO-related functions including
- Web page audits for search engine algorithm compliance
- Keyword analysis
- On-site improvements
- Link and performance metrics
- Design, implement, analyze, and optimize natural search techniques
- In-depth competitive analysis
- Track Website KPIs using Omniture SiteCatalyst and Search Center to improve ranking/indexing/positioning
- Identify and build link strategy
- Work with IT, marketing and content departments to cross-functionally coordinate SEO execution
- Drive documentation of SEO guidelines and provide internal training to teams
- Continually reinforce expertise in the field by staying on top of current SEO news and algorithm shifts

Requirements
- 3+ years SEO experience
- Experience in working with international SEO campaigns
- Understanding of the principles of SEO best practices
- Keyword research,
- Link analysis and
- Page level optimization techniques
- Proven history of successfully meeting or exceeding ambitious SEO goals
- Experience in web content management tools
- Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript and CSS
- Experience in using Omniture SiteCatalyst
- Experience in writing search engine friendly copy
- Knowledge of site architecture
- Ability to select potential link candidates
- Knowledge of website usability
- Strong organizational and educational skills
