Camobear Records is searching for an intern to fill the following position as soon as possible. We are looking for someone 2-3 days per week.

Web-based Design and Administrator Internship:

Blog seeding, Search Engine Optimization, Newsletter database management, Viral Marketing...if these terms mean anything to you, and you can explain them to us, and help implement a strategy for our growing business, then you may be the man/woman for us...Camobear Records, a 5 year old independent music label and publishing company based in East Vancouver, is seeking an intern for a web-based design and administrator position. The candidate should be a dedicated problem solver who can multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and demanding environment, but also be cool as a cucumber, prior to pickling.

Profile:

- Up-to-date knowledge on all aspects of the Internet,
- Studies in design/graphic arts - knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Flash and HTML
- Experience in graphic design and web development, along with Independent problem-solving skills, and self-direction.
- A sense of humour. For god’s sakes man, we are here for a good time.

Overview of Responsibilities:

- Update and optimize Camobear content through multiple artist websites and myspaces…
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of Camobear’s social media efforts (i.e. Blogs, Myspace, forums, etc.) and manage ongoing efforts from a technical perspective.
- Monthly newsletter design and technical facilitation
- Design and/or layout logos, flyers, newsletters, e-mail flyers, etc.
- Experience building and/or contributing to Online Communities preferred (blogs, forums, social networking sites, etc.)
