Our client, a Vancouver based digital marketing agency is looking to add a little muscle to their search marketing team. They are looking for a junior or intermediate search specialist to join the team for a 3 month contract with the potential to move to a permanent position.

The successful candidate will have an extra-ordinary work ethic, a good sense of humor and be able to demonstrate their understanding of current SEO strategies and tactics, ranking factors and overall industry knowledge.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and manage multi-faceted online marketing programs to meet client objectives
- Work with the senior team to develop and maintain a link solicitation and reporting regimen
- Source and solicit relevant, on topic link opportunities
- Supervise student interns link solicitation activities
- Contribute to overall search marketing strategies for clients
- Conduct and provide in depth written SEO technical analysis of sites
- Develop, implement and manage SEM, PPC campaigns
- Develop, execute and manage Social Media strategies

Skills Required
- two years of relevant hands on SEO experience
- proven organic search engine optimization skills
- deep knowledge of link building practices
- solid understanding of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms and search marketing in general
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- solid understanding of the social web with a particular emphasis on its applicability to business
- interest and experience and personality with Social Media a definite asset
