General Description
The Online Marketing Manager is responsible for handling nearly all aspects of The Eminata Group online presence including our website, online marketing and advertising efforts, search engine optimization (SEO) strategies and email campaigns. You’ll bridge the gap between the nuts-and-bolts IT side of things and the touchy-feely marketing side of things. You’ll need to be analytic and creative, detail oriented and big picture obsessed, technologically savvy and marketing friendly. As our Online Marketing Manager, develop and execute marketing and advertising initiatives across Canada. You’ll maximize the potential of our online initiatives and use your knowledge of the web to develop online and integrated strategic marketing plans. You’ll be responsible for using your knowledge of the latest marketing and technology trends to develop and implement our web strategy. You will also be responsible for creating and implementing performance metrics, developing key insights from the data and working with the team to continually improve online initiatives.

Specific Responsibilities
Reporting to Director, Marketing the Online Marketing Manager is accountable for the following:
# Overseeing SEO and SEM activities for Eminata’s schools across Canada
Development of online media plans and management of search engine marketing and optimization budgets (both internally or with support of agencies)
# Management and optimization of affiliate partner programs
# Identification and negotiation of opportunities for banner advertising with key advertising partners on either paid or barter or revenue share basis
# Tracking results of online marketing efforts using web analytics to attribute revenue to marketing spend and calculate ROI
# Other related duties as assigned to support the business objectives and purpose of EMINATA+

Position Requirements
Education and Experience:

To be successful in the Online Marketing Manager position, individuals must be committed to developing, maintaining and demonstrating the following:

# The ideal candidate has a BA in Marketing
# 2-5 years of working experience in online marketing
# Bi-lingual English/French
# Solid understanding of online consumer marketing: SEO, SEM and Affiliate programs, etc
# Experience with online performance-based marketing including Google, Yahoo, and other PPC vendors
# Experience prospecting, developing and managing vendor and partner relationships
# Experience with email marketing
# Experience tracking and calculating ROI from online marketing spends and the ability to translate numbers, statistics, and spreadsheets into executive summaries and recommendations for management team
# Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and presentation
# Good organizational skills and attention to detail
# Self-motivated, independent manager used to developing creative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
