E-Learning startup Teacherjames.com (teacherjames.com) is looking to hire a fulltime ONLINE MARKETING MANAGER. The job entails overseeing all of our online advertising as well as finding advertisers to participate in our Teacherjames.com Advertising Platform. The technical aspects will include overseeing online text, banner, video ads along with newsletters, portable widgets, Facebook applications, and new platform portability. This is NOT a programming job. The programming will be done by programmers. This is a management position to oversee our online marketing department.
Competitive Salary plus company incentives (we are, after all, a fast growing start-up company).
Qualifications:
1. SMART. Has to be smart, “out of the box” thinker.
2. CREATIVE. We’ll be trying some cool new things so I want this person to be creative as well.
3. Knowledge of online ad platforms like Google Adwords / Adsense and others are a must.
4. Knowledge of social networking platforms and using them are a must.
5. Previous experience in English or Language learning / teaching is highly regarded.
6. Previous experience in Online Marketing is highly regarded.
7. Previous experience in Management is highly regarded.
8. Sales experience in any field is required.
9. Fluency in English is required; Chinese proficiency is preferred.
10. Desired location should be in Taipei, but is not necessary. Can be located anywhere in the world.
Position to start August or September 2008.
