ActiveState Software (activestate.com) is seeking an Online Marketing Manager to join our sales & marketing team to lead and manage all our online marketing, website, and e-commerce initiatives to grow the company through online lead and customer acquisition. We are looking for someone who is an expert in and passionate about the latest online marketing tactics and getting results including SEO, SEM, and e-commerce. Responsibilities
* Manage ActiveState’s website properties including the creation of new website(s)
* Manage ActiveState’s e-commerce site to increase online revenue
* Improve natural rankings to increase targeted traffic, and improve lead conversions to
improve site ROI
* Manage websites’ information architecture and navigation, coordinate copy and graphics
with other staff
* Manage online advertising programs including pay-per-click and banner ads
* Develop and maintain social media strategies and tactics including blogs, forums, RSS
* Monitor and improve performance of websites by analyzing traffic and funnels on an
ongoing basis, including A/B testing
* Work with team to support email campaigns, landing pages including production, testing
* Work with team to coordinate integration of website with back-end systems such as CRM
and sales order management

Requirements: Education, Experience, Skills
* University degree in business, marketing or other related field
* At least 3 years in online/digital marketing with a proven track record of success
* Experience with SEO including understanding of strategies and implementing tactics
* Experience managing pay-per-click programs
* Experience with Google Analytics (Google Optimizer an asset) and excellent analytical
skills
* Experience developing and managing websites including content management systems
* Passion for new trends in social media, online marketing tactics, and website
design/architecture best practices
* Proven track record in successfully managing projects in cross-functional teams
* Ability to be a self-starter and leader, as well as a team player
* Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* High-tech, B2B experience an asset
