Multimedia Developer

Description
As the Multimedia Developer you will be immersed in the midst of the marketing department. You will take on the challenge of developing and maintaining all of our corporate websites and other online marketing material. Your everyday task will vary as your range of responsibilities applies to
all areas of production. You will have the opportunity to express your talents in both web and print.

The ideal candidate has an “eye” for tasteful and effective design. As an integral member of the marketing team, you will be involved in the development of all marketing collateral; including corporate identity, logos, websites, brochures, business cards, interactive media, sales presentations and more. This position is for somebody who thrives on learning and being able to apply their skills and knowledge. Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain corporate websites and all online marketing materials to ensure they are fully functioning, up-to-date, accurate and polished to company standards
* Design and produce marketing collateral:
- corporate identity/branding
- logos
- websites
- brochures/business cards
- interactive promotional material
- presentations
- other
* Create visually appealing materials with clear and concise messages that reflect the corporation’s objectives
* Develop concepts for marketing collateral that are innovative and effective
* Provide support to product development team in the area of GUI development
* Monitor web statistics with the purpose of identifying potential leads
* Maintain the SEO process with all online marketing materials
* Proactively seek opportunities for further enhancing SEO

Role
* Able to multitask and function will minimal supervision
* Demonstrate an understanding of current web technologies and how they relate to marketing
* Illustrate an interest in producing highest quality materials at all level of development
* Able to work in a team environment and understand the importance of open communication
* Attention to detail and able to document significant data for file/server maintenance
* Comply with current industry standards in all areas of production
* Mitigate risk and cost of production through planning and clear judgment

Requirements
* Minimum 2 years experience developing websites and print materials
* Updated portfolio showing recent accomplishments and technical abilities
* An understanding of SEO and the requirements for achieving high search engine rankings
* Extensive Knowledge of most up-to-date graphic design and web authoring applications

* Experienced with multiple authoring languages including
- HTML
- DHTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- ActionScript
- PHP
