Adventure West Resorts is looking to hire a Marketing Assistant interested in a career in British Columbia’s growing adventure tourism segment. The ideal candidate will hold a degree or diploma in Marketing, be computer savvy, hold an interest in research analysis; and of course have a BIG passion for the outdoors. This is a junior role for a recent graduate, or someone with 1-2 years of Marketing experience.

This role reports to the Executive Director.

Responsibilities:
Provide research, analysis and planning as it relates to sales, promotions and branding.
Identify, recommend and manage traditional and new media marketing opportunities.
Administer, deploy and evaluate communications tactics.
Design, develop and implement SEO projects.
Assist with press/media relations.
Assist with trade shows and event hosting.
Ensure website is up to date, active and at the fore front of our industry.
Domestic and international travel may be required.
