Job Description:
We are currently searching for Interface Designers with a passion for PC and video games. Our ideal candidate has a design portfolio demonstrating passion and enthusiasm for multi-discipline design techniques including graphic design and user interface design. You must have the ability to communicate and maintain a consistent and compelling visual style. Your creative concepts and content are supported with appropriate design and UI solutions.

You need to be able to take direction well while creating and iterating on design comps and assets. You will create user-centered designs, which will support solutions for very dynamic web applications.

Candidate Requirements:
3+ years experience working on gaming or creative web sites and applications.
Graphic and user interface design skills.
Experience deploying Flash applications.
In-depth knowledge of the latest versions of PhotoShop, Illustrator or similar tools for creating web site graphics.
Ability to hand code valid HTML, CSS, Javascript
Understanding of Actionscript and AJAX
Strong understanding of site usability and different browser requirements / limitations / compliance, and SEO.
Experience developing on, or working with developers using, an HTML templating engine like PHP, Django, Rails or JSP.

Candidate Profile:
Self-starter
Excellent problem solving skills
Ability to bridge design and development.
Passion for video games.
Currently located in Vancouver and legally permitted to work in Canada.
Experience with entertainment or video game sites is a plus.
Good communication skills.
