Interactive Designer Job Description
Description:
MovieSet(tm) is looking for an awesome interactive designer who loves movies. You’ll be responsible for designing next generation web application user interfaces and multimedia content to support the company’s expanding marketing efforts. Periodically collateral and stationary design will also be required.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years graphic design experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic/Web Design, or User Interface Design
* Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite product line including:
- Adobe PhotoShop
- Adobe Illustrator or Macromedia Freehand
- Macromedia Flash
- Adobe InDesign
- Digital Video Production (Adobe Premier and After Effects)
* Experience with the following:
- Hand-coding HTML
- Macromedia Dreamweaver
- JavaScript
- Ajax
- Drupal
* Must have good communication skills and work well in a team environment
* Must be detail- and solution-oriented and self-motivated
* Understanding of browser compatibility issues, W3C standards, accessibility guidelines, and optimization techniques
* SEO skills a plus
* Basic familiarity with print collateral design and production
* Must be able to manage multiple projects at once and have the flexibility to change focus quickly as projects require
