Freelance online writer and/or edit needed for various articles about Vancouver shopping, restaurants and activities. Topics will be specific to family, children and motherhood. Your core responsibilities will be to write articles relevant to Vancouver moms, with secondary responsibilities of completing online research, entering content into Wordpress, or general administration around maintaining a production calendar. In addition to being compensated on an article-by-article basis, you may be asked to provide 2 to 8 hours a week in production / editorial assistance.

Requirements:
- Ability to write in a fun and humourous tone with an urban, edgy feel.
- Previous experience writing online content required. Please provide links. Blogging is ok, but must be of excellent quality and of a specific topic (i.e. not just your personal blog). *** Please do not apply if you do not have examples of your writing. ****
- Knowledge of SEO
- Familiarity with family and women’s activities and topics specific to Vancouver
- Experience of Wordpress and/or Photoshop an asset
