1-800-GOT-JUNK?, the world’s largest junk removal company, is hiring an eMarketing Specialist to join our SEM & SEO teams to complete major online initiatives and website optimizations. The eMarketing Specialist must have a strong understanding of SEO and SEM strategies, tactics and measurement. Together the eMarketing Specialist and SEM & SEO teams will complete projects to increase online brand awareness for 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Franchise Partners and drive qualified organic and paid traffic to 1-800-GOT-JUNK? web properties.
The eMarketing Specialist will fulfill a dynamic marketing role with many responsibilities, including but not limited to:
* Working with SEM/SEO team to support the redesign of four 1-800-GOT-JUNK? web properties
* Responsible for writing sales driven landing page content and online marketing copy
* Manage the creation and implementation of email marketing campaigns
* Support SEM Manager with pay-per-click (PPC) advertising management and optimization
* Analyze and report on website analytics and online marketing campaign performance
* Assist in keyword research to execute link building and other keyword driven marketing programs and campaigns
Skills & Experience Required
* Minimum 2 years experience in search engine marketing and search engine optimization
* University degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications or a related program
* Familiarity and passion for web and email marketing
* Quick learner with the ability to learn new technologies and deliver on fast-paced schedules
* Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Well organized, with strong attention to detail
* Must be able to work cross-functionally, supporting multiple departments within the company
* A self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to a successful completion
* Experience with website analytics and optimization platforms (SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics and Google Optimizer)
* A working knowledge of HTML and advanced CSS is a major plus but not require
