E-commerce Coordinator w/ SEO Experience - Sugoi (sugoi.com) - Vancouver (BC) Canada

Job Function:
Successfully manages the on-time and on-budget delivery of strategic web development practices including consumer sales, branded sites, lead site enhancement initiatives, and online customer service and website development including ongoing initiatives like the custom Web application and international expansion.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as a project manager for all e-commerce initiatives, developing project plans including project scope, forecasting, timelines, cost/budgets, benefits as well as risk definition.
Maintain a centralized view of all initiatives, their prioritization and their interdependence for delivering against the yearly goals.
Coordinate and manage SUGOI Web sales and Shopatron
Track and provide analytic reports on all e-commerce projects and web sales
Perform the tasks of the web master
Upload the inventory every season
Ensure up to date inventory on the Website
Drive e-commerce sales and order processes for multiple sites
Develop and implement of all online marketing initiatives, following appropriate project approval guidelines before implementation
Coordinate operations of e-commerce function and ensure effective online offerings to consumers and dealers
Communicate updates on project status to the management team
Maintain pricing database for all products sold via the web
Perform all SEO related activities for SUGOI
Coordinate with Web Copy writer to review Project Management, development and implementation of internal resources for the creation of the Custom Web Application
Member of Dorel’s E-Commerce, task force
Build graphics for online order forms, newsletters and website
Video editing and flash build as required for special projects
Contribute to the success of SUGOI by assisting with other projects and tasks assigned to include reporting, analysis of data, attending or facilitating meetings and training / development sessions
Openly accept new and shared duties as assigned and related to the successful functioning of the sales team and changing business operations

Relationships:
Internally with the Marketing Manager, Creative Services Manager, Customer Service, and members of various departments (i.e. DEI, Sales, Accounting, Reception and Distribution) on a daily basis; regular contact and interaction with Managers and Supervisors.
Externally with contractors, athletes, customers, outside sales representatives, community organizations, and at times the general public
Independence will be required with the ability to support and balance this with team/department responsibilities.
There is a requirement for a strong recognition and sense of ethics and confidentiality.

Authority/Accountability:
Accountability for managing, tracking and reporting, consumer/friends & family discount deals, Brand Champions and related e-commerce programs.
Implementation and management of existing and new initiatives for e-commerce

Performance:
Performance will be based both on qualitative and quantitative measures as defined by the above duties and responsibilities; quantitative measures will be defined annually and/or quarterly with a staff review procedure
It is understood that to be responsive to the changing needs of business, efficiencies and effectiveness, performance will include soft skills as well as a focus on global contribution toward achieving results and business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:
The following are representative of requirements; consideration will be given to the broad spectrum and collective of experience and education.

Minimum of 3-5 years education and/or broad-based experience and/or combination of education and experience related to/connected with E-Commerce
Proficient spoken and written English
Competency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet - Adobe suite, flash programming and video editing an asset
Capable of researching, organizing and preparing written reports and presentations in final format
Demonstrated attention to detail
Established time management skills
Adherence to requirements for confidentiality
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Experience in E space and mass E retail, mass retail customer service and order management
An ability to think and act with a customer perspective
Willingness and ability to deeply understand all technology and process interfaces within and outside of current assignments
Knowledgeable of MS and Outlook; knowledge of JDE an asset
Demonstrated capabilities working in a fast-paced, high-volume, and often ambiguous/fast-changing environment

Working Conditions:
Work weeks are 5 days, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, with a flexible start time between 7:00 and 8:30 a.m.
There is entitlement to a one half hour unpaid meal break in the 8 hour day
There is a need to respond to multiple interruptions, and changing priorities efficiently and quickly relative to business needs
Occasional overtime, with paid compensation, will be required; some weekend work may be required
Awareness and respect for, value of diversity and ability to deal with a great diversity of people
Regular and reliable attendance is required
