Our continued growth and development has created the need for a Digital Marketing Specialist (6 month contract).

Reporting to the Manager, Marketing Communications, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing a comprehensive and innovative online marketing strategy driven by superior execution for Northwest & Ethical Investments L.P. Specifically, this position is responsible for driving the development of digital and social media marketing initiatives and developing an online prospect and retention experience that increases user engagement and conversion. This will be accomplished by leveraging information architecture, user interface design, content, web analytics, research and new web technologies The position requires specialized technical skills and a balance of business strategy and technical competency around web marketing systems and processes.

Expected Contributions:
* Plan, develop and deliver integrated digital marketing, online sales support and communications programs and social media initiatives to objectives, timelines, value propositions and budgets for products.
* Oversee the content management system (CMS) including end-user enhancements, testing, training, site audits, as well as web content ownership relationship
* Evaluate, select and manage an integrated CRM email marketing application
* Hands-on experience with campaign planning and management, online marketing tactics, contact strategy development, driving email strategy, sharing results, vendor management, forecasting and expense tracking
* Develop, execute and lead the SEO roadmap and strategy to ensure qualified traffic and visitations, performance of advertising, linking programs, social media strategy

Experience & Qualifications Required:
* Minimum 5 years experience in progressively advanced digital / marketing communication roles
* Minimum 5 years experience in progressively advanced digital, online marketing, e-business development, web design, site development and web site management (CMS), email marketing, web metrics and project management, specific expertise in SEO and social media required
* Background in financial services industry required for this position, with an understanding of the investment industry preferred
* French language ability / familiarity (not necessarily bilingual) preferred
* Excellent technical proficiency in Sharepoint, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, Microsoft Visual SourceSafe, Google Analytics, WebTrends, Lyris ListManager, Microsoft Windows and Office Applications, various social media tools, and online research and analytical skills
