We are looking for an extremely motivated individual to help grow our online stores through online marketing. You will manage the web content of our multiple online stores.

We are successful and fast growing internet marketing company in need of a student writer. You are a motivated student writer interested in beauty and health related topics. You have a mix of writing related talents that support your literary skill including research and editing. You love to do online research and play with keywords.

This candidate will be responsible for
- Writing banner advertisements
- Writing Online Advertising (Google Adwords)
- Write Product description and sales copy
- Writing beauty and health articles
- Research keywords (Google Trends)
- Analyze Website Statistics and rewrite the web content
- Online keyword research

- This candidate MUST be able to create writing that sells.

Freelancers will not be considered for this position. No ghostwriter. This is not a home-based writing position

You will be writing creative copy (marketing and ad copy), as well as persuasive press releases, editorial articles to keep a readers’ attention. You love to write and analyzing and are willing to learn more about sales copy writing.

Successful candidate will be closely working with the Internet Marketing Manager.

This is a flexible part time position (20 hours / week). Interestingly enough, this is part time position with full time job expectations.

Requirement
- MUST HAVE: solid command of the English language - written.

Candidate should have a successful track record working with e-commerce websites. He or she will demonstrate an advanced understanding of SEO tactics, the online industry, search engine algorithms and ranking factors, and possess a forward-looking approach to the search industry and the future of SEO.

* At least two years of hands-on experience with SEO, with a demonstrable track record of success
* Conducting ongoing SEO assessments of and implementing SEO best practices for assigned sites
* Contributing SEO expertise to product plans including site redesigns, and new site features
* Monitoring competitor sites and the general marketplace and ensuring that Company sites maintain competitive advantages in SEO
* Troubleshooting SEO problems
* Generating and implementing SEO enhancements with a focus on “quick wins” as well as long term strategies
* Reporting on the SEO of assigned properties including regular incremental reports plus analysis of specific SEO or enhancements or initiatives
* Reporting on the overall SEO health and rolling up SEO reports in a meaningful way for executive management

Skills Requirements:
* Extensive understanding of the search engine industry, industry standards, SEO best practices, search engine algorithms and ranking strategies.
* Proven ability to optimize for organic search on the major search engines: Google, Yahoo, and BING
* Advanced SEO techniques for link building, link baiting, ranking for targeted keywords, increased referrals and conversions
* Deep familiarity with social media, community websites, and social networking on the web
* Sound understanding of user experience for the web

We are a small web design and development firm located in the Fraser Valley. We are seeking an honest, knowledgeable individual to focus on the SEO needs of our clients on a project-by-project/sub-contractual basis. You must also be willing to sign an NDA and confidentiality agreement.
