NEWIMAGE College of Fine Arts has an open position for a Search Engine Marketer with experience in SEO & PPC management. We are a fast growing fine arts college, seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team. This is a full time, contract to hire position at our downtown campus.

Responsibilities:
You will work to improve organic search engine ranking on our soon to be developed main website through competitor & keyword research, website & webpage optimization, link building, search engine & directory submission and other various social networking techniques such as facebook, mySpace and youTube. We are open to your ideas and will challenge you to grow your skills in SEO management and online marketing. Candidate will also manage PPC marketing efforts and will be able to launch an effective landing page campaign.

Required Experience & Skills:
* Expert level in Google Adwords, Adsense and other Google Strategies
* Thorough knowledge of SEO strategy, tactics and management
* Experienced with Dreamweaver
* Ability to precisely convert UI layout designs and web content into high quality, cross-browser W3C Valid XHTML and CSS
* Intimate familiarity & Working knowledge/Experience with Joomla Content Management System
* Advanced knowledge and application of XHTML & CSS web standards
* Experience in PPC strategy and management
* Desire to learn and utilize new and emerging SEO strategy & technologies

Desired:
* 1-2+ years of professional Search Engine Marketing experience
* Programming experience in PHP

Surrey based software development company seeks SEO/Internet Marketing specialist to develop and increase sales of it’s software products via the internet. Candidates must fully understand search engine optimization, and internet marketing techniques, write press releases and develop internet presence in order to drive online sales. Experience with email products an asset. Should be able to edit HTML, analyze traffic patterns, and key words, and develop relationships with software sales companies and software product reviewers. Salary dependent on experience, bonuses paid on revenue increases of affected product lines.

About You
- You’re always looking for new, ethical and ‘outside the box’ search marketing ideas and pay per click strategies while remaining cognizant of specified budgets.
- You’re passionate about PPC and pay meticulous attention to detail. You’ve worked in numerous areas of online marketing, but pay per click marketing is what you love most.
- You like to live close to your PPC accounts. No one has to tell you to login everyday!
- You don’t care which one of those four landing pages wins even though you may owe someone lunch if it’s not the one you predicted. It’s a small price to pay to improve conversion.
- When you have the best sales day ever, you immediately start thinking about what to change in order to turn it into the 2nd best sales day ever.
- The first and last thing you do every day is check your numbers.
- You can articulate the different SEO strategies of your competitors and know how to deal with them appropriately.
- You know that you know a lot about SEO and/or PPC. You also know that you don’t know squat compared to what there is to know - neither does anyone else - it’s all relative.
- You aim to maximize impressions, CTR, conversion and minimize CPCs, but at the end of the day, you know that total profit is the only metric that matters.
- You have an inquisitive mind, a work hard/play hard mentality, are loyal and possess a sense of humor.
- You have at least two years experience in search marketing and are a Qualified Individual in the Google Advertising Professionals program. And, you have case studies to prove how effective you are!
- You want to work with small to large sized businesses and enjoy variety!
- You don’t mind dealing with clients and love gathering monthly reports to show them what you’ve done and what the next steps are.

The Opportunity
Freelance, contract Pay Per Click Account Manager: initially 5 to 20 hours per month between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm PST (negotiable) with the opportunity or occasional request for additional hours.

Compensation based on experience.

You will work remotely from your own home office on your own Mac or PC and must have access to a telephone to make outgoing and receive inbound calls.

Your Skills & Experience
- Experience as an account representative in a marketing or advertising setting.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Email, and Internet Research.
- Experience with Link Strategy, Video Promotion and Social Media a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and open communication style.
- Respond quickly to time sensitive matters.
- Experience using with CSS/XHTML a bonus, but not required.
