Position Title: Sr. Software Developer - AJAX-Based RIA Development (AJAX, RIA, XHTML/CSS/DOM)

Responsibilities
The Sr. Software Developer will be responsible for the development of the NetGraviton Search Engine Optimization (SEO) products. Our software suite is designed primarily using Python on the back-end and using AJAX as a front-end.

Typical day-to-day responsibilities will include the development of cross-platform, cross-browser compatible AJAX-based Rich Internet Applications. Examples of applications could be: development of a spell checking plug-ins for browser-based rich text editors; or development and integration of browser-based SEO tools into various Content Management Systems (CMS). Your work will use AJAX and JSON to remotely interact with Web Services on our server. Depending on your level of competency, you may also be responsible for writing data processing code on the Python backend servers.

The Sr. Software Developer will be responsible for the applications for the duration of the full product lifecycle, ranging from initial design through application deployment and support.

Qualifications

The candidate must have top-notch software development skills, and a strong background in software algorithms.
Only candidates with prior experience in developing AJAX-based applications will be considered.
As this is a telecommute/work from home position, candidates must be self-motivated and have excellent time management skills.
Please note, only candidates with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or, a very substantial amount of related technical coursework and work experience in a related field will be considered.
Prior experience in building or extending: browser-based spell-checkers; regular expression parsers; search engines; Web-based content management systems (CMS) or Web Publishing Platforms, such as Blogs or Wikis, is a big plus.

Looking to hire a local Vancouver based programmer to help build a social networking website. Role Description:
We’re looking for a motivated individual who possesses extensive keyword, Pay-per-click (PPC) campaign management and SEO experience. Responsible for establishing, managing and developing PPC campaigns and driving organic search traffic to our affiliate offers and corporate websites as well as managing all email marketing initiatives. An individual in this position will have a firm understanding and proven track record of SEO and PPC strategies.

You will be responsible for:
* Exploiting niche keywords for the generation of traffic to landing pages while maintaining set margins
* Organically optimize myriad sites on an on-going basis
* Managing daily margins and delivery of established PPC campaigns
* Writing/updating search relevant content for landing pages
* Keyword research and latest strategies
* Manage and optimize successful Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns on major search engines including Google, Yahoo, MSN etc
* Research/develop keywords and copy for optimizing search campaigns.
* Provide ongoing management of all SEM/SEO initiatives including reporting, analysis and optimization.
* Maintaining a high level of understanding of new internet trends, markets and procedures
* Managing keyword portfolios on multiple search engine platforms
* Implementing and reviewing creative (text ads) as well as A/B testing ads in order to identify the most effective ad placement
* Managing email marketing “drops” to subscribed lists periodically
* Make recommendations on ways to improve conversions, search rankings and traffic.
