The Senior Web Analyst’s role is to identify and drive key learning and best practices for Search Marketing & Web Analytics across Intrawest’s web sites and use that intelligence to help drive measurable improvements inline with business objectives.

The position will report to the Director, Web Marketing & Analytics and be a key player in helping to set-up and deliver on aggressive and exciting goals that support our strategy. The strategic focus of the eBusiness team will be to:
1) cost effectively drive more visits to our online sites
2) increase the % of revenue booked online vs. offline and through 3rd parties

The Web Marketing & Analytics team will work closely with the Web Operations team to ensure that:
1) the Web Operations team is supported with the right metrics and reports at the right time
2) search marketing efforts are optimized from a web operations perspective

Some resort travel may be required and the position will work closely with internal customers to:
1) analyze and report on web site KPI (Key Performance Indicators) to improve ROI
2) handle their business issues and concerns with respect to Search Marketing & Web Analytics and related technologies
3) gain support, and input/feedback, for new ideas to improve Search Marketing & Web Analytics

PRIMARY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Work with internal customers to provide paid search and search engine optimization strategic advice as part of the overall marketing plan by defining business goals, strategies and market opportunities
2. Work with internal customers to set KPI’s for measuring ROI success
3. Make recommendations on budget planning for internal customer’s fiscal year budget allocations
4. Work with internal customers to research and develop best performing keywords and keyword phrases
5. Develop and monitor the paid search campaigns for best possible ROAS (Return On Ad Spend)
6. Produce ROAS reports that include top performing search engines, search keywords and phrases, paid search compared to natural search performance
7. Manage Search Engine vendor relationships to help extract a greater value from the relationship
8. Verify monthly invoices from Search Engine vendors to ensure correct billing amounts
9. Conduct monthly SEM (search engine marketing) conference call with selected internal customers to go through the ROAS reports for the previous month, plan new campaigns that are coordinated with offline marketing calendars
10. Provide expert analysis to internal customers on campaign reporting analytics
11. Develop and document best practices for paid search and seo marketing techniques

Job Description
NowPublic.com is currently looking for a talented and experienced User Interface Engineer to lead our front end development.
