SEM-SEMPO Vancouver Meetup: December 17, 2013 The Inefficiency and Opportunity of Intraday PPC Bids

Announcing a new SEM Meetup for The SEMPO Vancouver Search Engine Marketing Group on December 17 2013 in Vancouver!

SEMPO Vancouver SEM Meetup: December 17, 2013 at Ceilis Pub Downtown on The Inefficiency and Opportunity of Intraday PPC Auctions

We are very happy to invite you to the last event of 2013 of the SEM-SEMPO Vancouver Meetup, featuring James Stewart from Acquisio PPC Management Software, which will be presenting on The Inefficiency and Opportunity of Intraday PPC Auctions. That should be a very interesting presentation. Our not so formal get together are all about the latest development in search marketing industry, obtain advanced knowledge in different aspects of SEO, PPC, Social Media Marketing and stay in touch with other SEM/SEO professionals in the area.

Therefore, the next SEMPO Vancouver SEM Meetup will be held on Tuesday December 17, 2013 at Ceilis Pub in Downtown Vancouver (670 Smith Street), starting at 6h00pm. For this SEM-SEMPO Vancouver Meetup, James Stewart, from the algorithmic optimizations team at Acquisio will be presenting on the The Inefficiency and Opportunity of Intraday PPC Auctions to Vancouver SEMPO members. As an SEM professional you deal with a huge number of variables within your campaigns. Two of these variables, when assessed together and controlled correctly, are capable of providing highly non-linear outputs within your campaigns. These are the two financial variables; bids and budgets.

The study of the intraday behavior of the financial variables has led to a deeper understanding of the auction environment in which all of SEM is working. How often should these variables be adjusted? Does the past really tell me my future? At what level of fidelity should I work to control my account?

Among these topics covered you will learn:

- How to assess an account’s intraday variation
- How budgets directly effect your CPCs
- The difference between historic modelling and reactionary bidding
- The power of driving statistically relevant account fidelity

Many of us at SEMPO Canada will be there along with the official organizers, Dmitriy Minenko, & Alexandre Brabant, Co-Chair of SEMPO Canada.

Become a member of SEMPO at the discounted membership fee at only $125 with the same great list of benefits available to all members.

Our Agenda:
6:00 pm - 6-15 pm - Getting together, talking with colleagues.
6:15 pm - 7:15pm - Presentation and Q&A
7:15 pm - 9:00 pm - Networking with colleagues.
