Search Engine Strategies (SES) Toronto, Canada - June 8-9, 2009

Mark your calendar! The main event of the year in Search Engine Marketing: Search Engine Strategies (SES) Toronto is coming back again soon on June 8-9 2009. I will be there representing SEMPO Canada along with all representatives of the Canadian Search Marketing Industry. For those who may not know, Search Engine Strategies is the premier event about Search Marketing (SEM) technologies and tactics and we are proud to have this show coming to Canada once a year. Organized by two of the world’s leading search authorities, SES Toronto Conference Chairman, Andrew Goodman and SES Global Content Director, Kevin Ryan, this show can help you learn:

* How search engines list Web sites for free and through paid placements;
* How to get free “organic” traffic by building a site that pleases search engines and your visitors;
* How to efficiently purchase listings guaranteed to rank your company at the top of search engine results;
* How to calculate the ROI of your search marketing efforts by tracking your visitors from the time they hit your site until they buy? and get tips on improving conversion if they don’t;
* How to build links that generate traffic to your Web site, and how to avoid the penalties of “spamming” the search engines;
* What’s coming next in the constantly evolving world of Web search, and how you can profit from those changes.

Search Engine Strategies Toronto 2009 will be held on June 8-9, 2009 at Metro Convention Centre, 255 Front Street West, Toronto (Ontario).

For more information on SES Toronto, please visit the SES Toronto Conference website.

Acquisio Search PPC Management Software is now officially the proud sponsor of SEMPO Canada, which will be present at Search Engine Strategies in Toronto.

  4. The event on new trends on Search Engine Strategies must have taken the interest of a lot of people in the search engine market industry. Are you coming out with an online version of the event?

  5. I can’t believe I missed this. I could have learned lots.

    The only way to rank for a really competitive keyword is with good backlinks along with good anchor text.

    However, I’d go after the less competitive keywords to start with and work my way up to the competitive keywords. You can get a site ranked for a non-competitive keyword in a couple days but may spend months on a competitive one.

    Enough of the non-competitive keywords will drive traffic to feed the kids while you’re trying to get the competitive ones.

  10. Search engine marketing novices and experts alike have already begun to converge at the event to glean the latest industry developments and SES techniques. 11. Every other event I’ve been to this year has had lower attendance than last year. If this was the case for SES New York 2009, it certainly wasn’t evident to me. The halls were filled with people, the exhibit hall was filled with people, and the sessions were jam-packed with folks asking great questions.

  13. SEO & SEM, yes it is the same thing… sponsored search is, like some ads, for example, if you do some search on search engine with some keyword, the first listed search is the sponsored search because the site owner pays to get listed on the first search.

  14. Do you have any online references about this conference?

  15. Is there anymore videos on the conference or anything like that? It would be nice to watch it again.

  18. This is a must see for learning more about SEO. If you are a beginner or even intermediate at SEO, you should attend. I learned how to get my site to number 1 on all 3 big search engines and my sales skyrocketed!
