EE Roadshow this Friday September 26 at Havana on the Drive (Vancouver)

Have you checked your Alexa ranking lately? If not, then now might be a good time to do so. What is the link between Alexa and the EE Roadshow? A lot. Since I introduce EE (ExpressionEngine) CMS to my website, my traffic has been on the way up and my Alexa ranking, on the way down (which is a very good thing). I am reaching 222,365 today and it keeps going down. I am very proud of the decision to move my site to expression engine and to use it as much as I can. You should do to. If getting more traffic to your site is something that you care about, please visit the EE Roadshow and sign up for the event. 9. Actually, having a good rank in Alexa is not beneficial except if you offer some kind of advertisement on your website. Advertisers would more likely pay more if they get more impressions. 225K is impressive

11. I trust Alexa rankings as they give you an accurate ranking of your website compared to over 28 million websites. My website had a traffic ranking of 100,000 last year but it has reached 300,000 now as I have not done any promotion or updates during that time frame!

22. I like the idea, but I personally wouldn’t install this add-on. Alexa has a very bad privacy history and this plugin is known to “phone home.” It’s reported that Alexa collects and stores info. about the data you enter into search fields and forms (in addition to the webpages you visit).
